Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

The institute has established IQAC as per National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) guidelines in 2022-23. Since quality enhancement is a continuous process, the IQAC becomes a part of the institution’s system and works towards the realization of the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance. The IQAC ensures the effective implementation of quality initiatives through continuous reviews and periodic meetings. The IQAC works towards attaining excellence in all the academic activities and for continuous improvement in teaching-learning process.

The vision of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is to promote and sustain a culture of quality enhancement in our institution.
The ultimate goal of the IQAC is to ensure that our college becomes a center of excellence in teaching, learning, research, and innovation.

  1. To develop a quality system for conscious, consistent and catalytic programmed action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the College.

  2. To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internationalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.
  1. To create awareness among faculty, staff, and students about the importance of quality assurance in higher education.
  2. To establish a feedback mechanism that ensures continuous improvement in teaching, learning, and research activities.
  3. To encourage research and development activities that contribute to the improvement of the quality of education.
  4. To promote a culture of transparency and accountability in all aspects of the institution's functioning.
  5. To collaborate with other institutions and stakeholders in the higher education sector to share best practices and promote quality enhancement.
  6. To develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote quality enhancement.

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has several functions that aim to promote and enhance the quality in our college.


The primary functions of the IQAC are: Functions: -
  1. Development and implementation of quality benchmarks: The IQAC develops and implements quality benchmarks for various aspects of the institution's functioning, such as teaching, infrastructure, and student support services.
  2. Continuous monitoring and evaluation: The IQAC continuously monitor and evaluates the institution's performance against the established quality benchmarks. It also identifies areas that require improvement and takes corrective action.
  3. Feedback mechanism: The IQAC establishes a feedback mechanism to collect feedback from students, faculty, staff, and other stakeholders on various aspects of the institution's functioning.
  4. Capacity building: The IQAC organizes workshops, training programs, and other capacity-building activities to enhance the skills and knowledge of faculty, staff, and other stakeholders on various aspects of quality assurance.
  5. Promotion of best practices: The IQAC promotes best practices in higher education by sharing information and collaborating with other institutions and stakeholders.
  6. Documentation and reporting: The IQAC maintains records and documents related to quality assurance activities and prepares reports for internal and external stakeholders.
